Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version: contest entry fees are not refundable once judging has begun, because by then the thing you paid for has been delivered. Everything below explains where that rule bends.

Contest entry fees

An entry fee buys a place in a judged competition. Once the entry window closes and judging starts, the work has been assigned to judges and the fee is non-refundable.

Before that point you may withdraw an entry and ask for a refund in full. Use the withdraw button on your dashboard, then email info@kwickdo.com with the order number.

When we refund without being asked

  • A contest is cancelled or does not run — every entry fee is returned in full.
  • A contest is postponed and you do not want to wait — ask and we refund in full.
  • You were charged twice for the same entry — the duplicate is returned.
  • A payment succeeded but no entry was created — returned in full.
  • We disqualify an entry for a reason that is our error, not yours.

What is not refunded

  • Not placing, or not scoring as highly as you hoped. Judging is the service.
  • Disqualification for breaking the Rules — plagiarism, a false date of birth, or work that is not your own.
  • Withdrawing after judging has started.
  • Subscriptions already used to publish work beyond the free allowance.

Subscriptions

A subscription may be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period, which stays active until it expires. If you cancel within 48 hours of a renewal you did not intend and have not used the period, write to us and we will refund it.

How and when the money comes back

Refunds go back to the original payment method — the same card, UPI ID or bank account. We cannot redirect a refund elsewhere.

We approve or decline within 3 working days of your request and tell you which. Once approved, the money is released to your bank immediately; it typically appears within 5 to 7 working days, though the exact timing is your bank's, not ours.
