For schools
Run your school’s art competition on Kwickdo
Independent, blind judging by working professionals, certificates for every pupil, and a permanent record of who achieved what.
Why schools use an outside panel
Judging your own pupils is uncomfortable. Staff know the children, know which parents will ask questions, and know who won last year. An external panel that cannot see a single name removes all of that, and pupils can see the criteria they were marked against.
What we can run
A competition inside your school. Your pupils only, your theme, judged by our panel, with results returned to you.
An inter-school competition. Several schools entering the same brief, ranked together, with each school able to see its own pupils’ results.
Nominated entries into an open contest. The simplest option: you nominate pupils into a contest already running.
What pupils and the school receive
- A certificate of participation for every pupil who submits
- A score against each published criterion, useful as feedback
- Cash or non-cash prizes, depending on the format agreed
- A results page the school can link to from its own website
- Selected work featured in the season e-magazine
Safeguarding
Judges never see a pupil’s name, age, school or photograph. Image metadata, including GPS coordinates, is stripped on upload. Nothing is published with a child’s name attached unless that has been agreed. We do not advertise to children or profile them.
We will sign a data processing agreement where your school requires one, and we are happy to answer a safeguarding questionnaire before you commit. Our privacy policy sets out how children’s data is handled.
What it costs
School programmes are quoted per school, based on the number of pupils and the format. Tell us roughly how many pupils and what you have in mind and we will come back with a number rather than a brochure.
