For parents
A fair place for your child’s creativity to be judged on its own merits
Kwickdo runs art competitions with two divisions for young creators. Judges never see your child’s name, age or photograph — only the work.
The two young divisions
Preschool, ages 2 to 6. Judged on freedom, colour and joy — never on neatness. A parent or guardian uploads on the child’s behalf.
Children, ages 7 to 15. Judged on imagination and expression first. A confident idea beats a careful copy.
Each division is ranked and prized entirely separately. A four-year-old is never scored against a fifteen-year-old, and neither is ever scored against an adult.
Is this safe for my child?
This is the question we get asked most, so here is the honest detail.
The account is yours, not your child’s. Where the entrant is a child, a parent or legal guardian opens and controls the account and submits the entry. Children should not register themselves.
Judges cannot identify your child. They read entries through a restricted view of our database that contains no name, age, date of birth or contact detail. That is structural, not a policy promise — the information is not in the data they can reach.
Location data is removed from every photograph. Phone cameras often embed GPS coordinates in image files. We strip that, and the rest of the embedded metadata, on upload, before anyone sees the file.
Nothing is published unless you agree. Entries are private by default. When you submit, there is a box you can tick if you want your child’s handle shown next to their result. Leave it unticked and the result is published anonymously — still ranked, still prized, just not named.
We do not advertise to children, profile them, or track them. There are no advertising cookies on this site at all.
The full detail is in our privacy policy.
What you need to provide
Your name as parent or guardian, your email, your child’s first name and date of birth (used only to place the entry in the right division), and a photograph of the artwork. City and school are optional. We never ask for identity documents, Aadhaar, PAN or bank details.
What your child receives
- A certificate of participation, digitally verifiable against a page on this site
- Their score against each published criterion — something to learn from
- The season e-magazine
- Cash prizes if they place, paid within their own division
- A permanent public result page, if you chose to be named
How much does it cost?
The account is free. Entries are paid for individually, starting at ₹150, or covered by a subscription if you enter often. Full prices are on the pricing page. Registering does not commit you to anything.
How the judging actually works
Entries are scored by a named panel against criteria published before entries open, so you can see what your child is being marked on. We publish how much the judges agreed with each other, which is unusual and which we think you should be able to check. Judging decisions are final.
Common questions
Can I enter on behalf of more than one child?
Yes. Buy an entry for each child and submit them separately with each child’s own date of birth so they land in the right division.
How much help can I give my child?
Age-appropriate help only — setting up materials, holding paper steady. The work itself must be the child’s. Judges are experienced enough to notice.
Can I delete my child’s data later?
Yes. Email info@kwickdo.com and we will delete it. Published results where you chose to be named stay in the record, because other entrants’ rankings depend on them.
Is AI-generated art allowed?
No. It is prohibited, and entries found to be AI-generated are disqualified without refund.
